Porthole with CANDi rivets

Hi everyone!
here to show you another project using
that awesome CANDi!

I decided to make this fun little no occasion  card to send to someone.
For my rivets on the porthole, I used some of that awesome CANDi!
One of the great things about CANDi is that they give your projects dimension without all the bulk.
That is great for saving yourself some money when it comes to postage :)

For my project, I used Rainforest CANDi:

Never Too Old!

Scrappin Toxic Midge

Hi there crafty peeps!  Today I will be showing you a couple of pages out of an Album I made from an old calendar.  The album is full of pics of me and my bestie Scrappin Madge doing crazy things.  I chose to work with the Polka Dots--"Berry Bliss", the Gingham--"Galaxy" and the Flower Power--"Mia" CANDi, seen here:

Sunday Best!

Morning, it's Julie here again from across the pond, back with more Sunday Best Candi inspiration for you.

Today I am focussing I some gorgeous flowers created by Marie Chillmaid our Candi Queen! What Marie can make from Candi is nobodies business and over the next few weeks I am sure you will be inspired to pick up your Candi and start making something just that little bit different!

So please let me introduce you to  ....

Morning everyone!
Here are a couple of cards that I made using some Candi 'buds', couldn't resist using some of my new stash of shimmer card stock, night purple shimmer (lush,!) and petal shimmer with some white Candi. Looks like it's a white Candi week for me this week, more buds in the second card with a lovely silver frame, lots of perfect pearls and a glitter border (scored a double line frame, filled with double sided tape and used a fine anthracite glitter).  I filled the centres of the buds with a blob of glue and a sprinkle of silver frantage (a rough glass glitter), the little bud at the top is attached to a monochrome paper clip.

How about a little box of flowers to send to a crafting friend?  She could add them to a card or layout?

Now I want to share with you some of our great customers Candi makes!
If you would like us to feature your Candi makes on the blog, please send images to me, Marie, at:   cardsandcandi@hotmail.co.uk.

First up is AMANDA LAKE who sent a pic of her lovely layered blooms with buttons and gems as centres, this is a  great little stash ready for card making, hope to see some of them again soon Amanda! Thank you for sharing ....

MAUREEN SCOTT's lovely works of art have winged their way all the way from bonny Scotland! And very bonny they are too, showing off two beautiful cards with Candi layered flowers, showing what you can do with a handful of Candi...........

See you again next week for more Sunday Best!

Sunday Best!

Hi everyone, it's Julie here again with another Sunday Best! for you.

Today I am sharing with you a gorgeous card created by UK Design Team member, Emma Smith

Emma's card features our Tea Dance collection, which is now available as a download.  Simply click here to see the full collection, click to buy and its yours forever.  Print out whichever papers you want, whenever you want, you will never run out of that favourite sheet in the collection!

Emma's card has a fabulous Candi arch on it, framing her lovely tea pot and cup design, really drawing your eye into the card.

Up close to see the detail of all that Candi, 2 rows framing that arch shape.

Tea Dance papers are one of Emma's favourites and this is another of her gorgeous cards, this time Candi fills the centres of all her little flowers.

I also love this tea cup card which has a place to pop all these stunning tags embellished with Candi filled flowers!

Emma has shown some fabulous ways to use our Candi on your cards and projects, the perfect dimensional embellishment!

Candi is available from craft stores across America or from www.simonsaysstamp.com and www.scrapbook.com and, of course, Theresa's shop The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Castle Shoppe.

I will be back again with some more amazing creations from our UK Design Team, see you next Sunday!
